Referencing in Australian High Schools
In senior years at high school, schools use several referencing styles according to teacher preference and subject, but predominantly APA Referencing Style and Harvard (Australian). We use these styles to cite the SOURCE of supporting arguments, that we search for, and then use to support our own argument, in our written work.
We find these sources in essays and research papers, which are published in journals and publications, usually accessed through databases. Learn why and how to reference, before you rely on the GENERATOR.
A summary of APA style can be found here. This is a great place to start, if you are new to referencing.
